A FAMILY fun day is being planned for a newly-completed church and conference centre.
The event will include a barbecue, a bouncy castle, a bucking bronco, pottery painting, face painting, hair braiding, computer games, live music, salsa lessons and more.
It will be held at The Durham Centre, on Belmont Industrial Estate, Durham, on Saturday, June 20, between 1pm and 4pm.
The Durham Centre was opened as a conference and training facility and new home of Emmanuel Church Durham in March, following a £1.5m project to convert the building from a former chemical factory.
Organiser Alastair Scott said: "The reason we are putting on the fun day is because we as Christians believe that we are called to serve others and so we want to serve the local community by putting on a free day of fun for all the family."
Admission is free and open to all.
