THE Northern Echo has teamed up with Croft motor racing circuit to give away ten pairs of tickets to its big HiQ British Touring Car Championship race day this Sunday.
The weekend marks the only time of the year that the UK’s premier motor racing championship will visit the North-East.
Tens of thousands of people are expected to cram into the circuit, near Darlington, to watch world-famous names such as Jason Plato, Thompson, Neal, Giovanardi and Turkington go bumper to bumper in high-speed action.
There are three BTCC races in total to savour as a grid of 22 cars – including BMW, Chevrolet, Ford, Honda, SEAT and Vauxhall – do battle. In addition, another seven races from the high-profile Ginetta, Porsche and Renault support championships will add to the bill.
