A COMEDY by Shakespeare will be staged in the grounds of a castle.
Heartbreak Productions will stage the Bard’s As You Like It in the grounds of Brancepeth Castle, in Brancepeth, near Durham, on Sunday, June 14.
The story touches on romance, politics, gender, identity and love.
The production, directed by Peter Mimmack, gives the text a psychedelic 1960s feel.
The entertainment starts at 7.30pm. The running time is approximately two hours and 40 minutes including an interval.
Guests are invited to bring low-backed chairs or rugs as no seats will be provided.
