A LEADING arts college is set to open its doors to the public as it showcases the best of a new generation of talent.
More than 200 national diploma students at Cleveland College of Art & Design (CCAD), in Hartlepool, are preparing to host to thousands of visitors from June 4 to 10 at its annual summer show.
The exhibition, a culmination of two years work by young designers and artists, will display works in ceramics, photography, 3D design, painting, drawing, illustration, fashion, textiles, digital arts, graphics, interactive design, moving images and fine art.
Principal Martin Raby said: "This year’s event showcases the outstanding quality of art and design produced in our college. "The work highlights the creativity and individuality that is encouraged here at CCAD and provides a platform for our students to make the next step into higher education or professional creative industries.
"It’s also an excellent opportunity for those wishing to consider art and design courses to see the work created and the variety of courses we offer."
Visitors to the college will also be able to purchase original pieces or commission work from individual students.
