A DEVELOPER has won permission to change the design of 20 planned homes.
Keepmoat Homes applied for planning consent to alter the agreed designs of houses which form part of its 83-home development at Tail-upon-End, in Bowburn.
Under the original plans approved in September 2007, the two-and-a-half storey houses would have had two bedrooms in the roof. They will now have one larger window.
Planning officer Allan Simpson said the changes would have no additional impact on residential amenities and were largely cosmetic.
The revised proposals were agreed by Durham County Council’s Central and East Durham planning committee during a meeting at County Hall, Durham, on Tuesday afternoon.
