SHOPPERS at ASDA supermarket at Whinbush Way in Darlington are not returning borrowed trolleys.
Why they don’t take them back is unknown.
This evening two were found dumped on the grass by the road, between Gleneagles and Lismore Drive.
A spokesperson for ASDA said: “We usually send a porter out to collect the trolleys.”
ASDA are not able to say if they have a problem with trolleys being stolen at this time.
