Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman in her seventies had her handbag snatched in the street.
The incident happened at 9.45am on Tuesday, May 26 in The Crescent, Northallerton.
The man, who came from Central Drive, through a snicket on to The Crescent, has been described as white, of average height, with blue eyes, aged about 18-20.
He had short dark hair and was wearing blue jeans, white trainers and a dark blue jacket.
The handbag contained keys and other personal items.
