Cleve’s Cross Primary School recently underwent an OFSTED inspection and the conclusions of the report have now been published.

The final report was impressive with 29 out of 33 categories being judged as outstanding, the others were judged as good.

Staff and children were delighted with the report which showed their hard work and commitments were well rewarded. Leadership and management were at the heart of the schools success. Pupils’ progress was said to be, “Above and often well above the national average”.

The schools curriculum was praised as being ‘first class’ and well supported by extra-curriculum activities. The most glowing of references was of pupils’ development. The report said, “The quality of care, support and guidance is outstanding”.

A school council member said, “We take our role seriously, are involved in decisions about the school and respond maturely to opportunities to express our views”.
