Surtees Arms Ferryhill
The Yard of Ale Brewery, based at the Surtees Arms, Ferryhill Station has received its 2nd award for its ‘One Foot in the Yard’ ale.
The ‘Beer of 2009’ award was presented during the recent Surtees Beer Fest by Wear Valley Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) by member Gerry Vickers.
The brewery is now planning for its 2nd year of production and has already taken receipt of new equipment, which will help increase capacity and efficiency.
