TICKETS are now on sale for a 1940s military band concert to celebrate national Armed Forces Day.
The show will follow a special flag raising ceremony at Hambleton District Council’s Stone Cross headquarters in Northallerton on June 22.
It will see the Northallerton Operatic Society, Northallerton Variety Company, Bedale Brass Band and Thirsk British Legion Band perform at the Hambleton Forum on June 27.
Tickets for the concert are available from the Hambleton Forum, district council offices in Northallerton, Stokesley and Easingwold and Hambleton Leisure Centre priced £7 or £6 concessions.
*British Armed Forces Day is a national initiative for the nation to show its appreciation for the contribution made by all those who serve or have served in the military.
