PARENTS and carers in Hartlepool are being urged to air their issues and concerns at a special event next week.
It has been organised by Hartlepool Council, the Sure Start Children’s Centres and Hartlepool Community Network to help them shape and improve the services they offer families.
It will take place at the Belle Vue Community Sports and Youth Centre, in Kendal Road, on June 2, from 2pm to 4pm and 5pm to 7pm.
Gillian Slimings, Sure Start integration support manager, said: "These sessions are an opportunity for parents, grandparents and carers of children in Hartlepool to tell us about the issues and challenges which they face.
"This will help us to ensure that we are providing them with the most effective help and support.
"It’s also a great opportunity for them to find out about the wide range of services which we provide."
