A CAR has had its windows smashed while it was parked close to the Master Cooper pub in Acklam, Middlesbrough.

The red Vauxhall Corsa was left with three smashed windows and damage to the boot lid following the incident, which happened just after midnight on Tuesday, May 19.

A stone garden ornament in the shape of a lion was found close to the car and it is believed that this was used to cause the damage.
