A MAN has been arrested after spending four hours on a roof top in Stanley, County Durham.
The 21-year-old man climbed up there at 10am and refused to come down.
The incident is understood to have arisen as a result of a domestic disagreement.
Roof tiles were thrown to the ground from the Thorntree Terrace property and people were kept from the area by around ten police officers for their own safety.
The man climbed down voluntarily at around 2pm, and was arrested by police.
