A CHARITY has been set up in the name of a terminally ill youngster.
The Taylor Made For You Trust, named after Taylor Stallard, from Hartlepool, was launched on Saturday at a fun day to celebrate her fourth birthday.
The trust will raise money to help individuals, families and communities in the North-East.
The fun day was held at the Grand Hotel, Hartlepool, and featured live music, children’s games and even a song by Newcastle rapper Stephen “Silver” Elms.
Taylor, who has a chronic lung condition and was born without an immune system, is not expected to live beyond childhood.
She spends eight months of the year at hospital in Newcastle, where she has already had 12 operations.
She also needs oxygen around the clock and is given antibiotics via a tube connected to her heart.
To help the trust, call 0780-090-2242.
