A STUDENT is undergoing two testing exams in three days – one academic and the other at Wembley Stadium.
Sports studies undergraduate Michael Oliver sat his final exam at Sunderland University yesterday, and will referee the League One play-off final between Scunthorpe and Millwall, at Wembley tomorrow.
Next season, Michael, 24, from Ashington, Northumberland, will become the Premier League’s youngest referee.
He said: “I know I am young, but players accept your age, even Premier League players.”
