THE team investigating the disappearance of Claudia Lawrence have thanked the people of York for their help during the filming of a reconstruction of her last known movements.
Filming for the BBC’s Crimewatch programme took two days and led to roads and pavements being closed several times.
The chef has been missing since March 18 when she failed to turn up for work at the University of York.
Family liaison officer PC Paul Beckwith said: "North Yorkshire Police are extremely grateful to the people of York for their generosity, co-operation and forbearance during this critical time."
