ENTRIES are now being sought for a competition designed to spotlight the very best in the world of tourism.
Yorkshire’s White Rose Awards are now in their 21st year and the deadline for entries this time around is July 10.
Organised annually by Welcome to Yorkshire, the awards, are much sought after by tourist attractions, accommodation and events.
And for a selection of winners there will be the additional opportunity to compete on a national scale as they go through to the Enjoy England Awards for Excellence.
This year there are 15 categories to choose from and details, and application forms, can be found on the website www.welcometoyorkshire.net.
Welcome to Yorkshire chief executive Gary Verity said: "We are asking tourism businesses to sell their vision on what they think represents the very best example of a successful tourism business."
