BREWING UP: The cast of Dinnerladies help Diabetes UK staff promote their Care for a Cuppa event
A CAST of actors have been taking tea to get behind a charity campaign raising funds to combat a life-limiting disease.
The cast of Dinnerladies, who are performing at Darlington Civic Theatre until Saturday, visited Diabetes UK in Darlington to launch Care for a Cuppa.
The branch hosted a tea party for local businesses and supporters as part of the national fundraising scheme.
A spokeswoman for the charity said: “Care for a Cuppa tea parties can be hosted by anyone at any time and are a great way to raise funds for Diabetes UK.”
