OVER 120 vehicles and drivers were stopped and checked by Cleveland Police during a clampdown on suspected rogue traders.
Officer deemed the operation a success after four arrests were also made.
A 39-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of 10 ecstasy tablets with intent to supply and has been bailed pending forensic examinations.
A 37-year-old man and a 28-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle.
A 23-year-old man has also been arrested on suspicion of possession of cannabis.
Inspector Tony Rock, who headed the operation said: "This was a very successful operation, carried out in partnership with other agencies to reinforce the message that Rogue Traders who often target the vulnerable and elderly are not wanted in this area."
