A HOSPITAL will hold a special celebration to mark 60 years since the opening of its nurse training school.
The Friarage Hospital in Northallerton first opened its doors to trainees in 1949 and still trains new nursing staff today.
All nurses who have trained there over the years, and members of the Nurses League, have been invited to attend a lunch on June 13 to celebrate the anniversary.
The lunch, costing £15, starts at 12pm in the nurses’ recreation hall at the hospital.
To book a place call Eva Shuttleworth on 01609 773058 or Maureen Smart on 01609 770972.
