IT was a case of half a step forward, one step back, on this morning's Headline Game on TFM Radio...
Yesterday's game was about two employees being sacked at Yellowstone Park in America for urinating in Old Faithful, an historic geyser.
Our headline was "Security leak" which earned a point. However, the point was deducted when a busybody rang up TFM to say they weren't security guards, but rangers.
I got straight onto the internet to find the job description for rangers and, sure enough, security is one of their responsibilities.
Having explained this to presenter Graham Mack, he gave me half a point back.
Then we moved onto this morning's game which was about a football match between priests at a seminary in Switzerland.
Our headline was "Jesus saves" but it was outdone by "On a winger and a prayer".
On the week, it's TFM 2, Northern Echo a half. Pray for me.
