NOISY neighbours who cause sleep deprivation, anger and stress to those living around them are being targeted as part of noise action week.
The week long national campaign, which kicked off yesterday, supported by Hambleton Community Safety Partnership, aims to raise awareness about the problem of neighbour noise and what can be done to tackle it.
Loud music, traffic, barking dogs and disputes over boundaries and parking are just some of the causes of conflict between neighbours.
As part of noise week mediation service UNITE is offering free community consultations to Hambleton residents.
They will act as ‘go-betweens’ in any dispute between neighbours and help them to come up with an agreement that suits all parties.
