One of the biggest controversies in the history of the Headline Game this morning.
The story was about two employees being sacked from Yellowstone Park in America after being caught on CCTV camera urinating in the historic geyser Old Faithful.
Our headline was "Security leak" which was deemed good enough to earn a point. (TFM also got a point for "Dirty old geysers".) That was fine - until some interfering busybody rang to say that they weren't security guards they were rangers and we should, therefore, have our point taken away.
Presenter Graham Mack "The Knife" agreed so it's 1-0 to TFM.
Well, I'm not having it. I've gone onto the internet this morning and checked out a Yellowstone Park ranger's job description.
It says this: "Rangers spend their time patrolling and maintaining backcountry trails in the park, monitoring wildlife, and policing (enforcing rules and safey regulations) public use of the backcountry areas of the park."
So security is clearly one of their responsibilities. I'll be arguing for my point back in the morning.
