A MAN was left severely injured when he was knocked from his motorbike.
The 57-year-old suffered a broken leg, a broken wrist and a fractured pelvis when he was involved in a collision in Acklam, Middlesbrough this morning at 7.40am.
He was riding his Triumph Speed Master along Swainston Close, intending to turn right onto Earlsdon Avenue, a Nissan Micra pulled out of Earlsdon Avenue and into the path of the motorcycle.
The rider was knocked from his bike and thrown over the bonnet of the car. He was taken to James Cook University Hospital where he has been detained for treatment to his injuries The 17-year-old driver of the Micra was unhurt.
