SCHOOLGIRL Jordan Goodman's artistic talents are ready to point the way to a new cycleway.
And her creation has won the ten-year-old a family day out at Redcar races.
The youngster's Healthy Lifestyle poster idea, with a horse riding a bicycle, was the pick of the entries from Lakes Primary School, Redcar, the starting point for the new £150,000 cycle route.
Jordan and runner-up Rachel George will both have their posters turned into signs for the route which runs from Plantation Road along the footpath that runs through the housing estates, past Redcar Racecourse and ending at Corporation Road linking into the National Cycle Network.
Work includes path widening and new lighting and, for the first time, giving priority to cyclists and pedestrians crossing Greystoke Road and Woodside.
