THE results of a post mortem examination on a man shot by police marksmen yesterday are due this morning.
Father-of-two Keith Richards, 47, was shot after an armed stand-off with officers at his house in Cheapside, Shildon, County Durham.
He had been armed with a crossbow, and fired bolts from a bedroom window during the stand-off.
A post mortem was carried out last night.
The Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) is investigating the incident, and is expected to release a statement later this morning.
