Game Time, Tees Valley Leisure & Ravenwood Roofing are promoting a weekend feast of basketball next Saturday and Sunday as Eston Sports Academy opens its doors to the crème de la crème of junior basketball.
The Tees Schools County Cup finals and Tees College Play off finals will be held over the weekend on the superb main court in a 1,200 seat arena Eston Sports Academy is the home of Middlesbrough Lions and the teams will even run out to a special team intro with lights, music and announcer. “we are looking to create a magical atmosphere so that the players who have done so well to reach the finals will be rewarded with a professional experience that they will remember for the rest of their lives.” added James Thomson, head of Game Time & Middlesbrough Lions.
Last season the Finals event was very successful. Nunthorpe School brought over 70 people to support their teams and helped to generate a carnival atmosphere. More than 250 people watched the Year 11 final last season and it is hoped that a large crowd will attend to help make the day memorable for all players involved.

Tickets are priced at only £3 for an all weekend pass including the professional charity basketball game on Sunday 17th May 4pm (arrive 3pm) and the event is raising money for the Daisy Chain Charity.
