A GROUP of eco-friendly youngsters have successfully designed a new logo for their Little Rotters Club.
The pupils from Durham Lane Primary School, in Eaglescliffe, worked alongside print and design company, AlphaGraphics, to create a logo, desk pad and stickers for their club.
Run by year threes Compost Team, the club teaches students about the importance of composting and looking after their external school environment.
The students also have their own wormery where they regularly collect fruit skins from the schoolyard to feed the worms.
Teacher Ashley Gent said: "The children loved interacting with the guys from AlphaGraphics and gaining an insight into the way they work. They have really enjoyed the project and were extremely excited about seeing their sign for the first time."
