ST Gregory’s Church, in Bedale, celebrated the Bank Holiday weekend with an excellent flower festival, along with a craft and gift fair.
Many visitors enjoyed the magnificent floral displays.
The theme was "stories from childhood" and included scenes from nursery rhymes to modern-day children’s entertainment, such as Harry Potter and Finding Nemo.
Among the magnificent displays was the Secret Garden in the prayer corner and Ali Barber and the 40 thieves.
The flowers were all arranged by the Northallerton and District Flower Club and the St Gregory’s Church flower arrangers.
The event began on Friday evening, with a preview of what was to come.
Many people enjoyed wine and nibbles and were entertained by music.
The Reverend Cath Vickers welcomed visitors and introduced a Dalescare representative, who opened the festival and thanked the organisers for donating the proceeds to the charity.
