Catterick Young Farmers entered their new junior member Jack Henry for the Gold Cup Mascot Race at Wetherby on Sunday 26 April.
Following this year's theme of Be Keen, Go Green and Support Your Local Market, Jack's costume was a reusable carrier bag filled with local produce.
"Jack of All Trades" won 'Best recycled Mascot in Parade' and was runner up in the 'Best Themed Mascot in Parade', winning £50 for Sue Ryder care. In the race Jack came 17th out of 60 mascots.
Catterick Young Farmers have raised just over £250 for Sue Ryder Care, through sponsorship, standing at Richmond Farmers Market collecting sponsors, and internet donations.
