Robert Graham, two years old next month, is the first child today at ASDA, Whinfield, to have his hand print published and mounted with a poem, to celebrate their ‘Baby and Toddler’ event.
Downs syndrome Robert attends Harewood House, and mum Samantha Walker said: “His disability never stops him having fun.”
Mother Amy Nixon brought her baby in for the event. Six month old Owen Dickson delighted in the attention.
She said: “He enjoyed having his hands painted; it is something a bit different.”
Sarah Makepeace, the events coordinator at ASDA and her helper Mrs Rhodes had their own hands full seeing to all of the babies!
The choice of rainbow colours, a certificate, money off coupons and a free balloon makes the event a great success.
