FASHIONABLE students have designs on raising hundreds of pounds for a cancer charity.
More than 75 textile students from Northallerton College, plan to strut their stuff in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care.
The GCSE, A and AS-level students will be dressing for success at a fashion extravaganza on May 7.
They will model their own collections and will also be taking some textile wall art down the catwalk.
And a further team of students will assist backstage with lighting, choreography and music.
The students will also be joined by Benetton of Northallerton, who will be showing their latest range of ladies and children’s wear.
Head of textiles Linda Breckon, who worked with fellow teacher Anne Chapman to organise the show, said: "The students have created a lot of garments this year and we felt that the best way to show off their hard work and talent was with a fashion show at the college and at the same time raise funds for charity.
"Their design inspirations have come from a multitude of areas from John Galliano to commercial companies and individual garments include a wedding dress and a new uniform for Virgin Atlantic.
"We have a good standard of students who we strive to bring out creativity and originality and encourage them to do something just that little bit different."
Tickets for the fashion show are £3 each and are available from Northallerton College reception or by contacting Linda Breckon on 01609-773340.
