WORK by Scottish artist Heather Dormer will be going on show in the Yorkshire Dales from May 1.
She is the latest artist to take up an invitation to stage an exhibition in the reception area of the National Park Authority’s Yoredale offices in Bainbridge.
Heather, who comes originally from Edinburgh, now lives near Fountains Abbey in North Yorkshire.
She studied and qualified in fine art at Leicester College of Art and Design and followed that with a teaching degree and she divides her time between her own painting and private teaching in various media including classes at Kiplin Hall, Scorton, Richmond.
She has exhibited all over the country and also has paintings in private collections in the UK, San Francisco, Thailand, Italy and Australia.
Her exhibition at Bainbridge runs until the end of June.
