TWO school pupils have completed a ten mile cycle ride for charity.
Matthew Law and Kieron McLean, both 11, cycled from their homes, in Coulby Newham to Ormesby.
The pupils, from The King’s Academy, in Middlesbrough, did it to raise money for Butterwick House Children’s Hospice, Great North Air Ambulance, the Uhuru Ministries and Children in Need.
Matthew said: "I really enjoy cycling. It was my idea to do the ride and I roped Kieron into it as well. It was great to get so much support."
Academy principal, Chris Drew, said: "We’re very proud of Matthew and Kieron’s determination to do something positive to support some excellent causes.
"It’s great to see two young men not only thinking of others but also making the effort to raise money for them in this way."
