YOUNGSTERS at a Teesside school have been doing their bit for the environment with a range of recycling leaflets and models The pupils at High Clarence Primary School, in Port Clarence, Billingham, have spent the last few weeks learning about how to be green through recycling.
Children aged between four and seven- years-old have made a range of models of robots, dogs, dragons and even an allotment, using recycled materials.
While students aged seven to 11-years-old have been using computer skills to produce information leaflets on recycling.
The winners will be invited to recycling facility SITA next month to have a look around the visitor centre.
Graham Ingleson, general manager at SITA UK Tees Valley, said: "I think the children have done an absolutely brilliant job. They have great imagination and this has been a great way to increase awareness on the environment to those at such a young age."
