ARGUABLY the most memorable match in the history of football is to be replayed to raise money for The Sir Bobby Robson Foundation.
The 1990 World Cup semi-final between England and Germany is to be re-staged at St James' Park, Newcastle on July 26.
Stars of the original game, which England lost in a heart-breaking penalty shoot-out after the game ended 1-1, are to be reunited for the re-match.
Sir Bobby said: "I'm thrilled at the prospect of re-uniting my 1990 England squad in support of my charity. It will be a pleasure to see them together again and hopefully this time we'll get the result we want against Germany."
Tickets for The Sir Bobby Robson Trophy are available through Newcastle United's online box office at nufc.co.uk and are priced at 10 for adults and 5 for children.
