A TOWN centre pub in a Victorian era building is up for sale in a rural market town for an asking price of £265,000.
The Lord Nelson, on St James Green, Thirsk, is owned by Scottish and Newcastle Pub Enterprises and is one of 30 pubs it has put up for sale.
The sale of the pub, just off Thirsk town centre, is being handled by the specialist licensed property agent Fleurets.
Simon Hall of Fleurets said: "All of the pubs offer the potential for growth and in some cases, development.
"This, combined with sensible prices, means we are expecting a good level of interest."
The freehold of the property, which has accommodation with a bar and restaurant, is up for sale.
