A FEMALE cyclist has been robbed as she rode through a Middlesbrough estate on Tuesday afternoon.
At 5.30pm, the 43-year-old cyclist was travelling along the cycle path, which runs by the side of the beck near The Vale in Grove Hill, when a man dragged her from her bike and snatched her bag.
He then ran off towards The Vale or Beech Grove Road.
The suspect is described as a white male, in his early 20s, about 5ft 11ins. He was wearing dark clothing with a hood and a white Nike motif across the back.
Cleveland Police are asking a woman who may have witnessed the attack to come forward.
She is described as white, with long blond hair; about 5ft 2ins and of petite build. She was wearing a distinctive blue/silver eye shadow and was possibly wearing a light coloured top.
