AN ART group is to hold a two-day exhibition to mark its first anniversary.
Blackhill Art Group is to display painting and drawings created by members during the show in the community centre, in Derwent Street, Blackhill, near Consett.
The group, which was formed in June 2008 after winning a lottery grant to buy materials and equipment, will stage the anniversary exhibition on Saturday, May 2 and Sunday, May 3 from 10am to 4pm each day.
Admission is free, although donations towards running costs would be welcome. Refreshments will be available and there will be a tombola.
