A WOMAN has breached an Asbo banning her from having noisy sex in England and Wales - after just five days.
Magistrates issued Caroline Cartwright with a four-year Asbo preventing her from "making excessive noise".
But yesterday she was again arrested by police after reports she was flouting the ban with husband of 24 years, Steve.
She could now find herself imprisoned for up to five years when she appears at Houghton Magistrates on Monday.
Last Thursday, Cartwright, 48, of Hall Road, Concord, Washington, had the order imposed upon her after Sunderland magistrates felt it was necessary to restrict her behaviour.
Cartwright was convicted for five breaches of an abatement notice and fined a total of £515.
Magistrates considered whether or not an anti-social behaviour order was necessary to restrict her behaviour.
An environmental Health Officer told the court that Sunderland Council had received 250 complaints on its logging system and recordings made from a neighbour's house were played in open court.
Magistrates told Cartwright that action to get her to curtail her behaviour had not worked.
They therefore felt it necessary to impose a 24-hours-a-day Asbo, effective for four years anywhere in the country.
The conditions stated that Cartwright cannot make excessive noise, knocking, shouting, screaming or vocalisation that can be heard in neighbouring properties or outside the house.
It also prohibits the couple from playing loud music.
Mr and Mrs Cartwright are due to celebrate their silver wedding anniversary.
