FURTHER tests are awaited by police investigating the death of a man whose body was found on a beach.
A passer-by reported the discovery of the body near to the North Dock, at Seaham, County Durham, at 7am last Friday.
The dead man was subsequently identified as 44-year-old Andrew Hoar, of Ivy Avenue, Deneside, Seaham.
A post-mortem was carried out and his death is not considered as suspicious, with drowning suspected.
But police are now awaiting the results of further tests to confirm the cause.
