A FLORAL extravaganza is to attract visitors to North Yorkshire to the Harrogate Spring Flower Show.
Based in the Great Yorkshire Showground the event is now in its 82 year and it welcomes visitors from across the world.
This year’s four day show will feature 425 exhibitors with 15 nurseries showing off their skills and wares for the first time.
An innovative display will see 24 nurseries put on shows featuring a holiday destination like Japan, Hawaii, Austria and the Lake District.
Organisers are expecting at least 55,000 people to attend the event which also has members of the Deliciously Yorkshire regional food group selling local produce.
Mary Bond, the show’s spokeswoman, said: "The sunny forecast is great news for us and we hope the weather encourages more people than ever to come and enjoy the show.
"We have more exhibitors than ever, including some new ones – there really is something for everyone."
Entry to the show is £14 on Friday, 24, and Saturday, 25, April and £12 on Sunday, 26, April with a reduced fee of £6 after 2pm on Sunday only.
The event runs between 9.30am and 5.50pm today and tomorrow and from 9.30am to 4.30pm on Sunday.
