In a blog on April 6, I had a pop at BBC presenter Clare Balding for humiliating Grand National-winning jockey LIam Treadwell over his gappy teeth.
But I also predicted that the furore over Balding's crass comments would lead to a race between PR companies, representing dental companies, to give Liam a brand new smile.
Lo and behold, in today's Metro paper - free on the tube - is a story headlined: "Race on to fix toothy jockey, 23."
Liam is quoted as saying: "It was the best thing what Clare said - I've had offers to do my teeth for free."
No doubt they're queueing round the block to give Britain's Got Talent sensation Susan Boyle a free makeover next.
