OAKENSHAW Community Association are cleaning up their community by organising a litter pick next weekend.
Residents are invited to join the event on Sunday April 26 starting at 10.30am at the play area.
Equipment is provided and children must have an adult with them.
The project is supported by Groundwork in Durham through a Pride not Prejudice initiative funded by the Northern Rock Foundation.
The association’s next open meeting is on Monday May 11 at 7pm in the Resource Centre, Willington.
