RESIDENTS of Bedale and the surrounding villages are once again being given the chance to question crime experts on all aspects of community safety.
The next "Safer Bedale" meeting, which will take place on Thursday, May 7, at 7pm, in Bedale Hall, will bring together representatives from Bedale police, Hambleton District Council and the Bedale and villages community plan forum, as well as community safety officers.
A district council spokesman said: "The meeting will give residents a chance to quiz them as well as allowing the police to update the community on crime statistics and current initiatives.
"Future priorities will be agreed at this meeting, priorities which will then be monitored by the group to ensure that the issues raised by the community are being addressed."
