POLICE have renewed an appeal for information for a missing man who has not been seen for more than a week.
Daniel Raffles, of Reeth, North Yorkshire, was reported missing from the Friarage Hospital, in Northallerton, on Monday, April 13.
The 50-year-old, who has not taken his medication, was last seen by hospital staff at about 2.15pm on the day he disappeared.
Officers investigating his disappearance believe he is in the Dundee area of Scotland, after two reported sightings of him on Saturday.
A spokesman for North Yorkshire Police said: "His cash card was used at a machine, in the Wellgate shopping centre, in Dundee, last Thursday (April 16).
"It is believed he is still in the area.
"He was wearing a green fleece, beige jeans and brown suede trainers when he left the hospital.
"However, it is understood he may have returned home to collect his passport, at which point he could have changed his clothes."
Mr Raffles is described as white, thin, 5ft 5in, with a shaven head and tanned skin.
He walks with a distinctive limp.
Anyone with information is asked to call police, on 0845-60-60-24-7.
