A FIRM of solicitors is offering to write a free will in exchange for a donation to a hospice charity.
All wills written during next month, at Coles Solicitors, in Thurston Road, Northallerton, will qualify.
Donations will be collected for Herriot Hospice Homecare.
Solicitor Peter Gibson said: "Making a will is straightforward, simple and an important way of protecting your family for the future.
"By publicising the importance of making a will, Coles Solicitors is helping people look after their own families as well as helping Herriot Hospice Homecare to help patients with a terminal illness in the Hambleton and Richmondshire area."
Coles will draw up a basic will free of charge.
In return for this service, the solicitors hope the client will donate the fee they would normally be charged to Herriot Hospice Homecare.
The suggested donation is £100 for a single will, and £185 for joint wills.
