DAREDEVIL fund-raisers are needed to take the plunge for charity.
Some places are still available in the Royal National Lifeboat Institution’s Dracula Drop bungee jump in Whitby on Saturday,April 25.
The event, held during Whitby’s famous Gothic Weekend, has become a popular event in the lifeboat charity’s fund-raising calendar.
RNLI Events Manager Lisa Rutter said: ‘The Dracula Drop has been running for three years now during the Gothic Weekend and is growing in popularity.
"It really is a unique experience and a great fundraising event for the RNLI – last year’s raised £8,000 and we are hoping to top £10,000 this year."
Each jumper pays a £30 registration fee and must raise £100 minimum sponsorship, with all funds raised going directly towards helping the RNLI save lives at sea.
