I've just got back from visiting Harvey Gaydon at Newcastle General Hospital, where he's had a bone marrow transplant.
Fourteen-year-old Harvey, from Darlington, has now been in insolation for 21 nights and he's doing really well.
So is his Mum Caroline who's been by his side throughout.
It's now a question of waiting for the new cells to "wake up".
Seeing what some families have to go through really does put it all in perspective. It also underlines the importance of as many people as possible registering as bone marrow donors.
Have a nice family weekend and enjoy your children.
