INTRICATE paper sculptures and some caricatures of familiar faces will be at two village halls in May.
Paper Trail, which is part of Highlights Contemporary Craft Tour, features about 30 pieces of work by Julie Roberts and Peter Rush, who both combine papermaking skills and sculpture.
Visitors will find a Prince Charles marionette alongside a full-size Margaret Thatcher and a smiling sculpture of the Queen Mother.
There will also be dancers, birds, mirrors, vessels, lampshades and paper jewellery.
The free exhibition will be at Cowshill Village Hall from May 1 until May 4 from 11am until 5pm and then at The Witham Hall in Barnard Castle from May 15 until May 17 from 11am until 5pm.
